Welcome to the Department of Medicine Women’s Committee (DOM WC) website. The DOM WC is comprised of women faculty from all medicine subspecialties who are committed to developing and enhancing the academic environment in the Department of Medicine and the Biological Sciences Division for women faculty and trainees through networking, mentorship, professional development, and advocacy.
Each committee member is an advocate for women’s advancement and leadership, and is concretely involved in activities designed to promote development of women’s careers in leadership, education, research, clinical practice and administration. Through our regular meetings, sponsored events, and publications, we address women faculty interests, provide networking and mentorship opportunities, and pursue initiatives geared towards the cultivation of a cultural climate that fosters the academic success of women faculty.
